...See more I'm in the middle of a work-related crisis. It's cost me a lot of tears over the past 24 hours or so. I am seriously considering quitting my job because my mental health has deteriorated to the point where I simply can't handle the environment there (or my supervisor, or the constant changes he makes) anymore. Whether I stay or go, I feel like I'm going to have to level with my boss about my mental illness(s) VERY SOON (as in, Tuesday), and I am TERRIFIED. (I had the chance to discuss this with him at my last work-related evaluation but chickened out; since then things have happened that make it virtually impossible to avoid.) I don't know how to talk about this at work or whether it's even a good idea, yet I feel I have to anyway. I feel that I have to make a decision ASAP to either walk away or honestly explain myself. I just don't know how my boss will react to this kind of honesty and bringing it up is a HUGE risk, so I'm very scared...
