...See more So last night my wife and I were having a great night. We were sitting down to eat Chinese food we had ordered. I was trying to get our order of dumplings with sauce open when I dropped them on accident and spilled the sauce all over our carpet. This was understandably frustrating for both of us. But I popped into action to try and clean it up. She told me I can’t do it right and she has to do everything herself. She ended up forcing me out of the room while she yelled and called me all sorts of horrible things. Things that honestly crossed a line. I kept trying to assist and tag in but she would only yell at me more. I eventually created separation. When she was done cleaning she blamed me for her not eating dinner and she went to bed. When I tried to apologize she started punching the wall. She has been mad before and this is kind of a pattern of anger outbursts but she’s never gotten violent and it honestly shocked me and made me question my safety. This morning I went to talk with her and just to wish her a good day. She flat out ignored me. Am I in the wrong? I know I accidentally dropped some food but it feels like I’m being punished for her anger too. This is honestly shaking me in a lot of ways. My self worth is at a ten year low and honestly I’m worried of continued fights and punishment for my mistake. Am I wrong to feel unsafe?
