...See more Hi! So I have been experiencing symptoms of OCD since I was about 5 years old, and I self diagnosed at age 13. I haven't gotten a diagnosis or anything because the country where I live doesn't really have options for therapy or anything like that. I have done a lot of research on OCD, though, so it's not me self diagnosing based on the "I'm so quirky and orderly lol" version of OCD. I experience pretty terrible intrusive thoughts and have compulsions, and I have pretty severe anxiety because of that. I guess what I'm trying to ask is if my version of self-diagnosis is ok. Cause like, self-diagnosis is seen very negatively because a certain mental illness/disorder might be misrepresented in the media. *cough* *** *cough* So yeah. Just thoughts :)
