...See more My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years and living together for about 7 months. Occasionally, he will get "sexually frustrated" and shut down and look depressed because his "sexual needs aren't being met". Personally, I could several weeks, maybe months, without any intercourse. I've been like this for years, far before this relationship. I've told him about this and he listened and somewhat understood but that didn't change how it made him feel. He doesn't want to be the one to initiate sex all the time but not only is that what I'm used to from previous relationships, but I simply just struggle doing it! I've gotten lingerie to appeal to him so that it makes him initiate but its so hard for me to start anything without already being provoked. How can I please my boyfriend without feeling like I'm making myself want to have sex?
