Hey there. I may not have been through exactly what you have been through, but I have had my own highs and lows. When I hit my rock-bottom it was the start of a totally new life for me - I am grateful for that experience, however painful it was. I know the pain of not having family or friends that are safe to open up to. I have had my own wonderfully objective therapist for a few years now and having this person in my life has absolutely made a real difference. I believe in self-awareness and not taking myself too seriously - forgive, be gracious, and the critics can kindly f*ck off
