Bio

I'm an over-40 married woman with a great husband and a very cool dog. I'm an introvert (INFP) with Major Depressive Disorder and anxiety, and I have a VERY hard time opening up to people about how I'm feeling. I've mastered the art of generic conversation and asking how others are doing without revealing much of anything about me.. Most people would never guess that I struggle so intensely every day with depression and anxiety. I keep a lot of things inside but I put on a very good front - I just want to make people feel happy. I want people to get a positive feeling from being around me, so I keep almost everything in. People tell me I'm unusually sweet or kind - someone recently told me that I'm the most compassionate person they've ever met. That was kind of her to say, but I have to believe that's not true (how sad would it be if it were!). Anyway, how I feel inside shouldn't impact how I treat others, but I wish I had someone else to be there for me, too - I feel guilty laying all of my issues on my husband's shoulders all the time, even though he's very supportive. I'm looking forward to connecting with people on a more genuine level. :)
