...See more hi, this is the first time posting a thread of my own, so i'm sorry if this isn't the right community to post this. it's kind of a complicated story, so i'll try to condense it all as best as i can. (tw for rape and pregnancy related trauma) a few months ago, a good online friend of mine was sexually assaulted, and naturally i was distraught over the news. being in a radically different timezone from them got in the way of immediate communication, but i did my best to be there for them whenever i could. a few weeks passed by and after some explanations and apologies, i felt like things would be ok again eventually. well, that feeling lasted only for a single day. because a month after my friend's incident, one of my older cousins suffered a cryptic pregnancy and ended up being admitted to a mental hospital due to the anguish it caused her. now i'm scared the same thing might happen to my friend. the thing is, i'm not sure how (or even if) i should bring this fear up to them. i don't want to remind them of the incident and possibly set back the progress they're making towards recovery. i also don't want to sound insensitive and/or inconsiderate by asking them if they're still having regular cycles. this is the first time i'm dealing with a situation like this, i don't know what i should do
