...See more Hi, newbie here. As sort of context, I've struggled with social stuff for most of my life. Up until now I thought I did some pretty ok progress, I was only kinda awkward with strangers and overthinking but it was improving. My bestfriend was sick for a while, so I was left on my own at school. I had to hang out with another group of friends, and so I had a SUPER awkward convo with this 7th grader, and it felt AWFUL. It's like all my social skills disappeared for a moment, made me so anxious. That's 2 weeks ago, but I still feel really embarrassed and anxious. At school, it's like everyone's staring at me. I don't even want to be looked at. I'm starting to go back to being scared of people. Even friends approaching me makes my skin crawl. Gosh.
