...See more Being a diabetic forced to follow a strict diet and allowed a limited number of places to eat when out, tethered close to home by the need to return in time to take your insulin, all the other maladies that is follow diabetes or go hand in hand such as neuropathy, retinopathy (hemmorhaging of the blood vessels in the eyes), heart disease, high blood pressure, sexual dysfunction... I find diabetes type 2 to be quite crippling.
