...See more I had to take my foot of the gas as I've become sick, which reminded me how alone I am. Since my normal distractions of life I've been successing with were gone, and so was the self esteem I was gaining, I found myself all cooped up in bed, alone, worrying about being alone, and tasks I have to finish up. But I tried to remind myself, this is temporary and is a good reminder of some things I need to balance in my life. I can still stay active and work in other ways even if my body is sick. Part of that is patience. And delayed gratification. And learning not to let a little sickness get me to down and to be hopeful and forward thinking as well. These things helped my anxiety go from crying in my bed to being hopeful and optimistic as I've used the experience to learn new things as well.
