Welcome!
My goal as a listener is to encourage the individual to share as much as they are comfortable, while also encouraging them to take little steps towards feeling better or to see their topic from a different perspective. At the end of every session, if possible or appropriate, I encourage us to collaborate and create a small goal for the member to work on.
Due to my current schedule as a graduate student, I am not able to continue conversations with the individual after the chat ends. I apologize for being unable to offer consistent or constant support throughout the recovery process.
