...See more it was 3 years ago. i was only 11 when it first happened, 12 is when it finally ended. 11 is young. 11 is when im experiencing different aspects of life for the first time. but i didnt get to. i was sexually harassed and it even went as far as an attempted rape. thankfully, it didnt go any further, but i had to deal with them all throughout my seventh grade. a full school year. the worst part? it was two girls my same age, ones who im supposed to be around for the next four years of my life until i graduate. since the year it happened ended and my dumb, young self realized how dangerous of a situation i was and still am in was, i live in fear. im afraid to leave my house because one girl lives so close, im afraid to go to school (which should be a safe place), and im afraid to even go to any place for a chance of seeing them. i just want to experience normal teenager things, like prom and boys and stupid things you see in movies but im afraid to go places and branch out in case it happens to me again or they find me again. im limited in what i can do because the fear always hangs around my shoulder and the constant anxiety attacks leave me never wanting to leave my bed. and i believe im powerless against what im feeling because i dont know what im feeling and how to deal with it
