...See more Just joined last night after having a small breakdown at work. I've been diagnosed for 6 years, always medicated. My psychiatrist retired a couple months ago so now I don't have one. My family Dr refills My meds now.. I feel so alone when I'm in my lows because only a select amount of people know I have BP. I asked my husband to educate himself so he could watch for signs but he doenst seem to interested. He is supportive and helps me in my lows but I just feel like he should be diving in and looking out for me more. I dont like telling people my diagnosis because I dont want to be put in a box or have people feel bad for me or act differently. I have a lot of regret for not getting help sooner because my children did not have the mom they needed to have for 11 years. It makes me sad to know I wasn't the best for them.
