Traumatic Situation-ship Ending
Relationship Stress / by unassumingHuman1192

...See more I'm 15 years old, and I just ended a kind of sort of relationship that lasted a month and a couple of weeks. We broke up because she wanted to heal. In the beginning, our relationship was hectic as we weren't really friends; we just jumped into it. It was long-distance, and we argued almost every other day. It became too much for both of us, but I still feel mostly attached. Being introverted, she was a significant part of my life, and not talking anymore has left a gap. We stopped talking mainly because I overthink a lot, and there were hypocritical things she did that I haven't gotten over. It bothers me and sabotages any hope of us getting back together, because we were still friends at the time. She got annoyed when I expressed how I felt during our time together. I didn't mean to be rude or criticize her out of the blue. When we were talking, I never opened up because she judged me every time. She was self-centered, closed off, and made me feel less of myself, often being angry when I'm more of a sit-down person. It hurt a lot, and I don't know how to get over it. Even though she wasn't good for me, she was a big part of my day, and I lost myself trying to make her love me correctly. I acknowledge my faults in starting some arguments and probably upsetting her, and I apologize for that. However, I still don't feel like it was right. I didn't mean to push her away; I just seized the slightest attention and ran with it. Overall, I want to know how to get over someone who was a filler in my life.

Mentally Drained, but why do I still care?

...See more I'm 15 years old, currently navigating an on-and-off relationship. I deeply care about my partner and have gone to great lengths to demonstrate my affection. However, she carries scars from her past, and I endeavored to prove that I'm different. In the process, I lost myself, fixating on daydreams and becoming indifferent to betrayal. Loneliness drives me to do anything for her presence, yet the toll of giving so much without reciprocity weighs heavily on me. Communicating my struggles triggers dark thoughts. Despite my willingness to support her, I feel unimportant. When I stopped sharing, she grew angry, focusing on her issues and seldom offering reassurance. I'm caught in a cycle, unable to let go, feeling undervalued and hurt. I want to make things right but can't endure being taken for granted. I yearn for reciprocal support and struggle to understand why opening up leads to judgment. Despite the emotional turmoil, I don't believe ending my life is the solution. I just want to know if there's any hope for a healthier relationship and my own happiness.
