...See more (M,25) Usually, I am the one who is positive, and happy, and okay and helping everyone else with their problems because I do genuinely love to help people but it isn't always easy... I started dating this girl a few months ago and everything has been going great but this past week, her poor puppy passed away due to cancer. We knew it was coming but thought she had longer to live. My girlfriend has been pretty broken up about it understandably so and I have been able to help her through it because I have lost several people including a younger sister when I was a teenager and an older brother just a few years ago.  Generally I cope well but trying to comfort her and give her the distance she needs, thinking of my siblings and her doggy, it all adds up with stress from work and home. I get sad, and feel alone and overwhelmed. 😔  Think I just need someone to help me this time and encourage me, tell me it's okay, listen if I need to vent or even distract me if thats what I need. I think after work, I am gonna go straight to bed and get some extra sleep or rest, see if that helps my brain.
