...See more ....Then you already have your answer They didn’t slam the door. They didn’t curse you out. They just… outgrew the space where YOU existed in their life. Quietly. Respectfully. Unemotionally. And that’s the kind of goodbye that hurts the most— not the loud, dramatic ones. The ones where someone chooses growth over you, like you were a comfortable old sweater they didn’t hate… just didn’t NEED anymore. So yes, you COULD keep trying. But you’d be trying to fit into a life that no longer has room for you. And you.... You deserve to be chosen. Not tolerated. Not left behind with a polite nod. So you knock once if your heart needs peace. But after that… You walk. Head up. Not because it didn’t hurt but because you refused to stay somewhere you weren’t wanted.
