Hi there! I am unique73 (as my username suggests), I also go by Aanya, and I am passionate about helping others who may be struggling with mental health problems. I believe that sometimes the most powerful way to help someone is simply to listen to them. I also believe that reaching out and asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do. I am a compassionate and empathetic listener with a deep passion for mental health and wellness.
Having struggled with my own mental health challenges in the past and still struggling (manageable) I understand the importance of having someone to talk to who can provide a safe and non-judgmental listening ear. As a listener, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space to share your feelings and thoughts.
I have more than 2 years of experience in listening on 7 cups and supporting others outside of cups too, whether it’s been as a friend, a family member, or simply a listening ear for someone in need. I have had my fair share of life and yet to experience a lot more. I get that everyone is unique and everyone’s journey of life is different. I am open to listening to your life experiences, views, struggles, insights, anything. I am also open to casual chats as long as they are appropriate and abide with the site guidelines. I understand and relate to not being able to talk and still need someone to be there for you, I assure you that I can be your companion in silence too. <3

I am available to chat mostly on weekends around afternoon (IST time zone). I keep my status online (green) if I am available to take a chat, if my status is busy (orange) my replies will be late, I try to give my undivided attention to the person I am listening at a time, and if my status is offline (red) I am not logged in to the website, you may expect my replies within 48 hrs.

I want to write a lot but not good at words sadly. I just want to say best listener of all time, i see a good friend in you, i was able to see the courage inside me because of you, i was able to smile because of you, talking with you is a pleasure, is a privilege I have that you're my listener. Amazing word defines you. As you say to others, you're "owsum" too. I am glad I sent you a Personal request and you quickly accepted, changed your status to busy and talked to me for an hour when I was at lowest in my life, but then those precious moments i spent chatting with you honestly truly provided me strength, provided me hope that yes there is someone out there who is ready to listen you without being judgemental at all. Been talking with her since long time. Helped me feel a much much better from the starting. It feels so lot good after everytime I talk with her. She helped me figure out by myself the problem and the solution, without any particular advice or judgement. WOW.
