...See more I'm sharing this little story because I'd like to connect with people who have also dealt with bullying, to support and listen to each other. And I need someone who truly understands what it's like... I was bullied pretty much my whole academic life before college, and I never addressed the trauma. It has affected me in so many ways and I thought I had things under control, but I don't. Social anxiety is the biggest issue for me. I graduated college 2 months ago and have a lot of free time on my hands. I have been alone with my thoughts a lot. I have been triggered by very little and trivial stuff lately and I haven't been able to recover from the breakdown. And I can't go on like this, especially with my ongoing plans to study a master's degree abroad. It's just about time I address this, I owe this to myself. I turned 22 on Saturday, and I think the best gift I can give to myself is an opportunity to heal. I hope this also inspires someone, idk. Anyway thanks for reading c:
