...See more This is a reply to a thread which I wrote for someone. I'm posting it again for people who need to see it.~ First off all if you have any kind of other problems (social anxiety, depression, trauma etc) you need to have that in consideration too.Usually when you have panic attacks it's always because or with another mental health issue. Now how to cope up is quite easy but you need to invest time and have a mindset that you need to get out of it. How to cope:1)take a deep breath reminding yourself that you need to calm down. Ik it sounds stupid but trust me that's the first step. It takes a long period to have control over yourself but trust the process.2) now this is something to do when you are not having any panic attacks and you are in a quite zone. You again relax and think about what you have in your mind when you have panic attacks. Think about why do you have it. Try to connect the dots. Maybe it could be a trauma or maybe it is depressing or something like that. When you don't get the answer it most probably invincible trauma. It's something which you know is not right subconsciously but consciously you deal with or negotiate with it. I would like you to focus on that. Now you always have to keep this in mind that you won't get answers immediately so don't be hard on yourself.3) meditate. A lot people think it's overrated or boring, I was one of them before I actually started doing it. Start with guided meditation it will help you relax. 4) have faith that things are working out and you don't have to be scared. I'm not a therapist or a psychiatrist but I faced it myself so this is what I can help you with. Now the reason why you need to relax is because once you start relaxing your body will always have space for more and the better you can focus on yourself and focus on fixing what the issue is. It's always better to consult a licensed professional. I hope it helps. Lots of love and light!
