Hello, and welcome to my listener page! My name is Lindsey and I'm a trained listener ready to help you out in anyway I can! :)
A little about myself:
- I'm 21 and currently in college studying to become a counselor full-time.
- In my spare time, I like writing and painting.
- My areas of expertise include (but aren't limited to) depression (and other mood disorders), anxiety, LGBTQ-related issues, dealing with traumatic experiences, bullying, and self-harm.
- There is a story behind my username. During my second year of college, my depression had hit an all-time high and I was forced to take time off from school to regroup. I'd often contemplate if I even had it in me to be an effective counselor. One day, my mom sat me down and told me that the best healers in the world are the ones who have been hurt themselves. It was then that she coined me "a wounded healer". She died a year later from cervical cancer. If I can take any lesson she's given me during my life with me for future use, it would be (and has been) this one.
That is why I want you to know that you can tell me anything. I will never judge you, nor will I ever break your trust. I want to be the person you can come to when there's nobody else to count on. Think of me as not just a listener, but as a friend as well. :)

Was great to speak with despite her haveing issues with Internet connection she did her best to respond quickly she was very understanding and will excel at the chosen field of study as well as I hope stay with seven cups when that time comes as is perfect for the position
