...See more I think it's worse since I'm pregnant, but when everyone drinks around me, I feel horribily left out. I also, due to my own history with alcohol, don't trust people as much when they're under the influence. I remember the bad choices I made when I drank too much. This Christmas there will be a lot of drinking with my family and I will, once again, be the only one not drinking and watching them all have a good time. I'm tired of being different. It's been 7 months and literally EVERYTHING about being an adult around here is centered around breweries, wineries, or making a damn cocktail. I'm longing for the days of innocence when it wasn't that way. On a positive note, my husband understands and says we should plan alcohol-free activities like going to the beach or seeing Christmas lights.
