...See more I have a friend from college who has a big gambling addiction and I've always bailed them out because I work alot as a bartender and have two jobs majority of the time so I don't get to ever just spend my money I just save it. This friend recently burrowed like 10 grand last February because they lost it on the Superbowl and theyre business was in jeopardy I felt so bad I didn't think twice about it I just told them give me a few days or a week and I could maybe use my savings and sell some of my collectables. They said they were grateful and would give me 3k on top for interest in THREE months so I said sure. He does like day trading or something. So July came by and I needed to get a job because someone robbed my storage and stole my pokémon collection.. so I ask him to pay me back he gave me 3k and slowly gave it back when it was convenient for him. Fast forward to this month he owes 3k left and said if he can just give me 2k I said sure I understood he's been gambling still and what not. And he gives me 1820 I said he short me 180 he said sorry he'll give it to me when he can. I told him it's been 15 months since he burrowed money and there were multiple times I could've used the money instead of getting two jobs. Currently a server and nail tech. He says why is the 180 so important when he just gave me 1820 yesterday and it shouldn't even be a big deal. I know I've been enabling his bad habits by always being their safety net but this time I felt like it was so disrespectful because I work two jobs and I could really use every penny I earn to get back on my feet
