I am here to listen to and support you emotionally.  I am in the 35+ age category but I'm comfortable supporting anyone of any age.  You can do the things you want to do, be confident that you can. You can be the person you long to be, your heart will show you the way.

Hello. I go by Sorley here, after the Gaelic poet, and I listen in from time to time. Life has given me a fairly intimate understanding of grief, violence, and the strange ways people survive both. I have no interest in judging you or pretending to have perfect answers. Sometimes being heard properly is enough for one evening.

تطْوِي الضُّلُوعَ عَلَى جَمْرٍ تُدَارَيهِ ... وَالْهَمُّ سَيْلٌ طَغَى وَاسْتَفْحَلَتْ فِيهِ ​تَمْشِي وَتَكْتُمُ فِي أَعْمَاقِكَ الْفَزَعَا ... كَأَنَّ رُوحَكَ بَيْنَ الْخَلْقِ مَنْفِيهِ ​تَخْشَى الْعُيُونَ إِذَا لَاحَتْ بِمَا حَلَتْ ... نَفْسٌ تَصَدَّعَ فِيهَا مَا تُدَارِيهِ ​تَقُولُ: "وَلَّى شَابَبي فِي الدُّجَى تَعَبَاً" ... وَالْيَأْسُ يَنْسِجُ خَيْبَاتٍ لِتُعْمِيهِ. ​وَتَحْسَبُ الْكَوْنَ قَدْ سُدَّتْ مَنَافِذُهُ ... وَأَنَّ قَلْبَكَ لَا شَيْءٌ سَيُحْييهِ ​فَاسْكُبْ هُمُومكَ لَا تَقْرَعْ لَهَا كَمَداً ... فَالْبَوْحُ حِصْنٌ مِنَ الْأَوْجَاعِ نَحْمِيهِ ​كَلَّا.. سَتُشْرِقُ مِنْ أَنْقَاضِ خَيْبَتِهِ ... رُوحٌ تَرُدُّ كَيْدَ الضِّيقِ، تُخْزِيهِ ​فَاصْمِدْ لِعَصْفِ اللَّيَالِي إِنَّهَا سُحُبٌ ... تَمْضِي، وَيَبْقَى جَلَالُ الْمَرْءِ يَكْفِيهِ ​ما ماتا عَزْمُكَ وَالْأَيَّامُ مُقْبِلَةٌ ... سَتَجْبُرُ الْكَسْرَ، وَالْمَاضِي سَتَطْوِيهِ يسعدني تقديم المساندة لكل السيدات والفتيات اللاتى يبحثن عن مساحة آمنة للتعبير عن مشاعرهن وأفكارهن.
