Ayesha Tariq Ali, MS Clinical Psychology
Ayesha Tariq Ali is a clinical psychologist based in Pakistan and Head of Content at 7 Cups. She leads the editorial process for the Advice library, including choosing topics, setting editorial standards, fact-checking, and approving articles for publication. She also reviews clinical content. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Psychology.
Her research interests include social media use and addiction, digital wellbeing, positive psychology, and mental health interventions. Her master's research contributed to the development of a training program for social media addiction, and she has also worked on developing and applying digital interventions focused on mental health and wellbeing.
At 7 Cups, Ayesha works closely with the Content Volunteer Team and leads the Content Development and Marketing Program as part of the 7 Cups Academy, along with several other community programs. In April 2022, she received the 7 Cups H Prize for Best Overall for her digital intervention, Finding Happiness Through Well-being: A Positive Psychology Path, which was also recognized in the Happiness category.
She is a WEDU Global Rising Star and has leadership experience as an Open Source Leader through Common Purpose. She advocates for mental health and raising awareness of invisible illnesses.
