I am glad that you have decided to make one step towards feeling better. I know it is not an easy step and that probably you are experiencing some pain and discomfort. I can tell you by experience that pain and discomfort can be an open door to a better and different future. There is definitely a possibility for change and growth. I am a passionate and kind psychotherapist and counselor, I have been training very hard and still am in order to be able to offer several points of views on problems.  I can assure you that if you are determined to change and feel better we can work together and you might be surprised discovering your own resources and possibilities.I believe that each person has the power to make positive changes in one's life.  I have completed many specific training courses and I am cooperating in a residential centre for eating disorders. I have been trained to use spiritual counseling, integrated counseling, in particular counseling for religious people, expert in narcissist abuse and I have attended a specific course for eating disorders, addictions (in particular sex and love addiction and drug addiction), hypnosis, gestalt therapy, transactional analysis, cognitive emotional therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, NLP (I am a master practitioner), I am co-author of the book "psicologia della vita consacrata".  I also use several relaxation techniques. Local Support in Italy

Italy, known for its cultural richness and stunning landscapes, faces unique mental health challenges influenced by socio-economic factors. Its economy, characterized by underemployment and income disparities, affects mental well-being, with only 58% of people aged 15 to 64 employed, below the OECD average. This economic strain often exacerbates mental health challenges in Italy, particularly among youth aged 15 to 35, where incidence rates have nearly doubled. Access to mental health services in Italy varies significantly between the north and south, with lower staffing levels in under-resourced regions. Despite these challenges, Italy's commitment to community-based mental health support is noteworthy. Law 180, or the Basaglia Law, shifted focus from custodial care to community mental health resources, fostering a therapeutic model that promotes dignity. However, economic crises and the COVID-19 pandemic have stressed these systems, highlighting an urgent need for enhanced mental health resources in Italy. The National Health Service is responding with initiatives like the 'Psychologist Bonus,' yet accessibility and staffing remain critical. Increased awareness and support systems have made mental health support in Italy more visible, yet gaps persist in affordable mental health care, especially in rural areas. As the community-driven model continues to evolve, exploring the directory for mental health resources in Italy can offer invaluable guidance to those in need, pointing to national and local solutions to improve the mental health landscape.
