Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization located in Aberdeen, MD, committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence by helping them reclaim their self-worth and identity. We offer a comprehensive, free 3 Step program tailored for women and children throughout Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Our mission encompasses a wide range of services including counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, computer classes, and a robust support network, all infused with spiritual guidance. In our workshops, participants explore key topics such as the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, and ways to discover God's plan for their lives. Our After Care Program extends support by addressing spiritual, emotional, and practical needs through workshops focused on life skills like financial management and nutrition, while also providing access to essential referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare available, our quarterly trainings serve up to 50 women and 15 children per session, ensuring that those desiring change have the tools and support they need to move forward with hope and strength.
