Based in Clinton, MD, Time to Fly is a dedicated, faith-based organization that empowers survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and rebuild their identities. Through our free, comprehensive 3 Step program, we serve women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, offering essential resources such as counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, computer classes, spiritual support, and a supportive network for navigating challenges. Our workshops delve into critical topics including the roots of domestic violence, the effects of abuse, and steps toward healing relationships, all while helping participants discover God's plan for their lives. Additionally, our After Care Program addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs with life-skills workshops, including financial management and access to essential referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare included, our trainings occur quarterly and are designed to serve up to 50 women and 15 children each session, fostering a nurturing environment for those seeking positive change.
