Time to Fly Foundation (TTF)
Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization located in Derwood, MD, focused on empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and identity through a comprehensive, free 3 Step program. Serving women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, our program includes essential services such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills, financial education, and computer classes. Participants can also find spiritual support and guidance in navigating systems to access additional resources. Our workshops cover critical topics such as the roots of domestic violence, the effects of abuse, and steps to healing relationships, all while emphasizing the importance of discovering God’s plan for a fulfilling life. We also provide an After Care Program that addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs through life-skills workshops and access to referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare available, we welcome up to 50 women and 15 children per session, facilitated quarterly to ensure that those desiring change receive the support they need.
