Time to Fly is a compassionate faith-based organization located in Germantown, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive support system. Our free 3 Step program, available to women and children throughout Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland, focuses on counseling, parenting and nutrition education, financial literacy, daily life skills, and computer training. Participants also benefit from a strong support network and spiritual guidance as they navigate the complexities of recovery. Through our workshops, clients explore critical topics such as the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, understanding God’s plan for their lives, and finding proven steps for relationship healing. Additionally, our After Care Program addresses ongoing spiritual, emotional, and practical needs, offering life-skills workshops on financial management, nutrition, and parenting, along with access to vital resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. We welcome up to 50 women and 15 children per session, providing childcare and fostering a safe space for healing and growth.
