Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization located in Halethorpe, MD, devoted to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive counseling and training program. Our free 3 Step program is designed for women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland, offering vital resources such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition guidance, daily life skills, financial education, computer classes, and a supportive community network. Participants engage with foundational topics in our workshops, including understanding the roots and effects of domestic violence, navigating the complexities of societal systems, and discovering a healing path aligned with God's purpose. Furthermore, our After Care Program meets ongoing spiritual, emotional, and practical needs by providing life skills workshops, access to vital resources such as childcare, housing referrals, and job assistance, ensuring each individual has the tools to thrive. We welcome up to 50 women and 15 children quarterly, nurturing their journey towards healing and renewal.
