Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-driven organization located in Hanover, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and identity. Our comprehensive three-step program is offered free of charge and serves women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Through counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial counseling, and computer classes, we create a supportive environment where participants can thrive. Our workshops cover essential topics such as the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, and discovering God's plan for their lives. In addition, our After Care Program addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs with workshops focusing on financial management, nutrition, and parenting, as well as access to vital referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare provided, we invite women and children to join us each quarter for a transformative experience that fosters love, healing, and community.
