The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Minden, NV, provides vital food assistance to eligible seniors aged 60 and older, ensuring they have access to nutritious food. In partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, we host a monthly distribution every fourth Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the Food Closet parking lot. This program is designed to support our senior community by addressing food insecurity and promoting health. To participate, seniors must meet specific income, age, and residency requirements, with sign-ups taking place on the day of distribution.
