At the Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Ashaway, RI, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to ensure that elderly residents have access to essential services that promote independence and well-being. We provide vital transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery and Meals on Wheels to those in need. Our compassionate team also offers visitations to isolated individuals, helping them feel connected and supported. Beyond these essential services, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above without family support. In collaboration with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate opportunities for senior volunteers through the Senior Companion Program, allowing them to serve their community while receiving a stipend for their commitment. We believe in empowering our seniors and ensuring they live with dignity and care in their own homes.
