The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Cumberland, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County and its surrounding areas, including East and West Greenwich and Jamestown. Our mission is to ensure that older adults receive the essential support they need to live independently and maintain their dignity. We offer a range of vital services, including transportation to healthcare appointments, grocery stores, and food delivery through our Meals on Wheels program. Our compassionate team also provides social visitation for isolated individuals, making every effort to foster connection and community. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and older who have no family support. In collaboration with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate the Senior Companion Program, which empowers senior volunteers (60+) to share their time and talents while receiving a stipend for their commitment. Together, we are committed to supporting the elders in our community and enhancing their ability to live fulfilling lives.
