The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Foster, RI, as well as residents of Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission focuses on providing essential support through transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, along with food delivery and Meals on Wheels. We also prioritize companionship by offering visitations to those who may feel isolated. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors over 90 years old who lack family support. Collaborating with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate opportunities for senior volunteers aged 60 and above to engage in the Senior Companion Program, allowing them to give back to the community while receiving a stipend for their commitment of service. We are here to ensure that aging in place is both dignified and supported.
