The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Hope Valley, RI, is dedicated to empowering older adults in Washington County, East Greenwich, West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors by offering essential services such as reliable transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, along with convenient food delivery and Meals on Wheels options. We also provide compassionate visitation for individuals who are isolated, ensuring they feel connected and supported. In addition, our program addresses practical needs through coordination of minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors over 90 who lack family support. Collaborating with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate placement in the Senior Companion Program, allowing senior volunteers to engage in meaningful service while receiving stipends for their commitment. Our focus is on fostering independence and dignity for the aging population in our community.
