At Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Pawtucket, RI, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission centers around providing vital food assistance, transportation to healthcare appointments, and grocery stores, as well as convenient food delivery through our Meals on Wheels service. We also prioritize social connection by offering visitations for isolated individuals, ensuring they feel supported and cared for. Understanding that some seniors may require additional help, we coordinate limited minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for those aged 90 and above without family support. Furthermore, in partnership with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the Senior Companion Program, enabling senior volunteers to give back to the community while receiving a stipend for their dedicated service. We are here to support our seniors, fostering independence and dignity in their daily lives.
