Our program, offered by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, empowers selected Fellows through hands-on training and education in organic food systems, without charging tuition to ensure accessibility. Following their residency, these passionate individuals embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to implement their knowledge and enhance food accessibility. With a focus on community-driven solutions, we support various initiatives, including farmers markets, educational sessions, and food coalition activities. Join us in transforming the landscape of food systems in our region, as we prepare the next generation of advocates and educators.
