🌸 Day 2: Empathy & Perspective

Empathy & Perspective

Creator: @AnnaSilverberg

🤔Seeing Through Different Eyes👀

Bullying doesn’t just affect the person being targeted. It affects everyone,
the person who’s being bullied, the bystanders and even the bully too.

It touches everyone involved

😭 The person being bullied may feel hurt, isolated, afraid or unsafe.

🫤 The bystander might feel unsure, guilty, or afraid to step in.

😮‍💨 The person bullying may be struggling with their own pain, insecurity, or need for control.

Understanding these perspectives helps us respond with kindness instead of judgment Whilst we continue our walk through this path, I do want to give you a gentle reminder, a reminder that you never ever deserved to be bullied, to feel unsafe or afraid 🫂

And if you were a person who bullied others, I hope that you have worked out your emotions, gained understanding as well as growth,
if you haven't reached that, I hope you continue walking with me through this growth path, perhaps you'll gain some understanding or clarity 🙂‍↕️

🤔 Lets Pause & Think 🤔
Let's take a moment to reflect:

🔸How do I think someone feels when they’re being bullied?

🔸What might stop a bystander from speaking up?

🔸Why do I think someone might choose to bully others?

🔸Have I ever been in one of these roles, a victim, a bystander, or bully?
What did I learn from it?

🔸How could empathy change the way I act in tough situations?

🦸‍♂️Awareness in Action🦸‍♀️
Today’s gentle challenge:

🤔 Try to imagine yourself in someone else’s shoes.

🫂 If you notice someone being left out or treated unfairly, ask yourself:
“How would I feel if that were me?”

Write or doodle one way you could show kindness to someone
who might need it in your workbook or just on paper.
