🚦Day 4: Taking Action with Courage & Kindness

Creator: @AnnaSilverberg

🙂‍↕️ What Taking Action Looks Like 🙂‍↕️

When we see someone bullying someone, it can feel really scary to step in😱
But even small actions make a big difference and those always count 🙂‍↕️
🫂Remember, as we walk this path together that small acts of kindness go a long way 🫂

💓There are safe ways to respond:

Stop: Use a calm, assertive voice to tell them the behavior isn’t okay

Walk: Remove yourself from the situation,
sometimes leaving is a strong way to show what is happening is not okay.
It says “No, I will not be a part of such cruelty”

Talk: Share what happened with an adult, teacher, or friend that you trust

And here on Cups, with a Community Moderator or report through our
Help Desk🤗

💬👀If you see something, say something 👀💬

💕Those who are bystanders have power too, choosing kindness can change the whole atmosphere💕

🤔 Lets Pause & Think 🤔
Let's take a moment to reflect:

🔸 What’s a time I wish I had spoken up or done something differently?

🔸What makes it hard for me to step in when I see someone bullying someone?

🔸How can I support someone who’s being bullied without feeling worried about being bullied?

🔸What role do I want to play when I someone being bullied, a silent bystander or active ally?

🔸What does courage look like to me?

🦸‍♂️Practice Your Response🦸‍♀️
Today’s gentle challenge:

Imagine you’re in a bullying scenario (in person or online):
And practice how you would respond using Stop, Walk, Talk.

💓🐑💓

Write down what you’d like to do such as saying calmly “That’s not okay”
or how you’d confidently walk away, who you would talk to about this afterward to get support

✨Even practicing in your mind builds confidence for real-life moments✨
