For those of us who aren't a verified listener yet (it's exciting to be one), please read about it and apply heree! (even the word 'here' is dancing😛)

We emphasize the importance of becoming verified to improve listener quality, but that's only one of the benefits of being a Verified Listener! Let's talk about the perks! Besides the satisfaction of that purple check on your bio, what do YOU get out of earning your badge?

Want to do Peer Support? Chatroom moderator? Mentoring? Becoming a VL is the baseline for applying to most of our roles.

✓ Gettting feedback on your active listening!
Listening is an ongoing practice. We're always learning new ways to communicate effectively and compassionately. Think of the mock chat as less of a test and more of a chance to practice. We want you to do well! Feedback is awesome and helps to learn more about your strengths, and your opportunities for improvement! You can undergo a mock chat as many times as you need to, and your verifier will do their best to make sure you are equipped to be a confident listener.
