>Why are Startups Hard? Because people are hell.
Video Segment: 9:30-12:00
People are extremely challenging.
Startups are pressure cookers. Normal people take easy, cushy, jobs. They don’t take startup jobs. Guess who takes startup jobs? People that are different. Sometimes these people can be difficult to work with. When you collect a bunch of different, gifted, driven people into an enterprise that is chock full of unknowns, it is going to be stressful.
Life happens. Things break. People make mistakes. This is normal. Welcome to having a startup!
Reflection: Respond to this prompt: You should abandon the idea that a startup is going to represent a normal job in a normal big company. Is that okay? Why or why not? Notes
