...See more TRIGGER WARNING- DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVOR To make a long story short I left my abuser 6 months ago. Divorce was signed in August. Of course he already had a serious relationship before the ink was dry. Being that my divorce is from my abuser, my divorce healing journey has been different for me than most. I’m not “jealous” of my ex and his new girlfriend, I’m seriously grateful because without her he would be focusing on me. Ever since he found a girlfriend We’ve been extremely amicable. Today he tried to come by the house and pick up a title (with her). I have given this boundary more than once. I chose to go hand the title to a mutual friend and said to grab it from them instead. This is a boundary (I’ve been working on enforcing boundaries and finding my voice). this happened at the exact second I was dressed for the gym and walking out the door (6-630) and I missed my gym session because of this. It triggered me to I guess remember how everything I used to try to do he would mess up and it just set me into a wave of anger . My days have been really good, especially since it’s been 6 months.but For some reason i just felt a huge wave of emotion today. End rant.
