...See more Don't know who agrees but the whole idea of "if it isn't a happy ending then it's not the end" and the idea of the happy ending in movies and how the main character gets it all in the end is a very toxic unrealistic idea. Life is full of hardships and happy endings can happen but not all the time. I think that we are so brainwashed by that concept so now life is much harder and we tend to take so much time dealing with the unpleasant events that happen to us. Not sure about you but i lost years of my life aching over friendships that had an unexplainable end and what made that pain take so much time is because of the idea of "There must be a happy ending" i just couldn't believe that's how things are, that sometimes there is just no closure and no happy ending. So i guess that concept makes us very fragile and less flexible.  Would like to hear your thoughts about it!
