...See more hi hope you all are doing well, I have a family member who lives in another state who is dealing with depression. she texted my mom saying how she wants to die, mom talked to her till she calmed down and set up a therapy session for the next day .she is unfortunately not very close to me and doesn't reply to my messages. so I was trying to connect with people who have experienced suicidal thoughts/depression before for some advice on how to talk to her. some tips in making sure she feels comfortable enough to talk to me. I feel like calling her directly is not a good idea since she won't be comfortable.
