...See more So two weeks ago I had my first healthy break up at the age of 21, upon reflection it made me realise how badly my previous relationships have been. At fifteen I dated someone who was physically and emotionally abusive and all my relationships have followed as such, including sexual abuse. I move on pretty quick and Im starting to think its because Ive never dealt with the pain of the previous ex. Im now on six abusive relationships and just doubting the future. Ive definitelly gotten better in knowing my worth and I really want to work on myself but its difficult to know where and how to start. Furthermore, how do I avoid this problem again? Every time Ive tried to be careful but as soon as they can, my partner will start to be controlling and abusive, Im just not sure why this keeps happening to me.
