Multiple abusive relationships
So two weeks ago I had my first healthy break up at the age of 21, upon reflection it made me realise how badly my previous relationships have been. At fifteen I dated someone who was physically and emotionally abusive and all my relationships have followed as such, including sexual abuse. I move on pretty quick and Im starting to think its because Ive never dealt with the pain of the previous ex. Im now on six abusive relationships and just doubting the future. Ive definitelly gotten better in knowing my worth and I really want to work on myself but its difficult to know where and how to start. Furthermore, how do I avoid this problem again? Every time Ive tried to be careful but as soon as they can, my partner will start to be controlling and abusive, Im just not sure why this keeps happening to me. Thanks for taking the time to read this

Well you said you just had your first healthy break up (from what I assume is a relatively healthy relationship) so you already know what to do.
Well how to avoid is a tricky one because obviously bad people are easy to spot and stay way from ( and so we do avoid those) the trickiness is when it comes to people who seem fine but show their true colours once you're in the relationship.
The moment you see the person acted in a toxic way, try to break up ASAP. Perhaps they also have been unfortunate when it comes to relationships and that is why they are abusive, if that is the case, you need to determine whether this person can change and if you can help them. Otherwise, wish them good luck and be on your way.
Trust your gut/instinct/etc. when it comes to romantic situations. its usually correct.
