...See more Hey all, I'm 19 and have recently broken up. Although I want to move on from this break up, it's been really hard to let go because I still love them. I continue to be in contact with them on a regular basis and I can't stop thinking about them when I don't know what they're up to. Whenever I set goals (like not contacting them for -- days), it makes the urge even stronger. I also worry that they'll move on with someone else faster than I can stabalize myself. My goal is to emotionally detach so that I won't want to get back with them, won't be jealous if they find someone else, and can continue moving forward in life without being emotionally burdened by this break up. Could anyone suggest how I could stop caring so much about them? Also, feel free share similar experiences you've had in this thread (even if you don't have advice).
