Appreciation 🌷💛

...See more Lately, I’ve been thinking more about appreciation, especially when bigger problems came up and it felt like there might not be a way out. I don’t usually like asking for help, but I noticed that when things started to get overwhelming, I was actually supported more than I expected. At the time, I was very focused on stress and everything that could go wrong. But when I slowed down a bit, I started noticing small things I would normally ignore. Not something big or perfect, just simple moments like someone checking in on me, a moment where things felt a bit calmer, or realising I got through the day even when it felt difficult. I’ve noticed that in difficult times, the more things and people I feel appreciation for, the more good I start to see. It doesn’t remove the problems, but it makes them feel a bit less overwhelming. It also showed me what actually matters to me  and made my values clearer. Even with everything going on, I still noticed small things, but also bigger ones—like the important people in my life who are doing well and make my life richer 💛. I think it actually made things feel a bit more manageable. In IDG course , appreciation is about relating to others and the world with gratitude and noticing what is good. I think this experience helped me understand that more in a real way. It’s not about ignoring problems, but about not letting them be the only thing I see. I also realised that where I put my attention really matters. When I focus only on stress, everything feels worse. But when I notice small positives, even briefly, it changes how I feel and helps me cope better . I’d really like to hear how others relate to this😊 🌿When things feel difficult, what helps you notice or feel appreciation?🌿 🌿Has appreciation ever changed how you saw a situation or what felt important to you?🌿

Perseverance 🌿💪

...See more Perseverance is one skill from IDG that I didn’t fully understand until recently. I used to think it meant just pushing through everything and dealing with it no matter what. Recently, I went through a difficult health situation in my family, which made me very stressed and worried. My thoughts became overwhelming, and all I could see were dark scenarios. I kept thinking about everything that could go wrong, including whether I would be able to manage my studies. The situation also made me worry that I might not be able to finish my studies at all, because of the stress and the possible responsibilities I might need to take on to support my family. This made everything feel even heavier, especially knowing how much my studies cost . It was difficult to think differently at that time because I was extremely worried. I also realised that I always thought I should be able to deal with everything on my own, which made the pressure even worse. After some time, I tried to apply what I learned from the course. I started to become more aware of my internal thought process and create some distance from my thoughts, with the goal of being less reactive. I also reminded myself that I don’t have to figure everything out at once, and that I can just focus on the next small thing I’m able to deal with. In IDG, perseverance is about continuing even when things are uncertain or difficult. For me, it wasn’t about being strong all the time, but about not giving up, even when things felt messy 💪. That small shift in thinking made me feel calmer and helped me understand that I am doing my best in a very difficult situation🌻. This made me reflect on how others deal with similar situations, so I wanted to ask: 💬What helps you keep going when things feel overwhelming? 💬Do you think perseverance is more about mindset or actions? Why?

Small Acts of Courage in Daily Life 💪✨

...See more I’ve been reflecting on what courage looks like in everyday life 🤔. For me, it’s often about continuing to move forward even when things feel overwhelming 😓, or speaking up when something isn’t working . Even small actions, like staying consistent with my goals 📚 or asking for support 🤝, require courage. I’m learning that it’s not about being fearless, but about not giving up . * What does courage look like in your daily life? 💬 * How do you keep going when things feel overwhelming? 🌊

Practicing Empathy in Group Work 🤝💭

...See more Recently, I’ve been thinking about empathy ❤️, especially when working in groups. Sometimes it can feel frustrating 😅 when not everyone is equally involved, but I’m starting to realise that people may be dealing with things we don’t always see 👀. Taking a moment to understand others instead of reacting straight away 🧠 has helped me feel calmer 😌 and more patient. It also makes communication feel less tense and more productive 💬✨. 💭 Questions: * Have you ever felt frustrated in a group situation? 😕 How did you handle it? * How do you try to understand others’ perspectives when things don’t go as expected? 🤔
