I am an accounting student that is required to volunteer in order to finish my degree. I have friends who suffer from drug and alcohol abuse and they have talked to me a lot about it. I enjoy being the person people count on when they get down. I lost my older brother when I was 12 to murder and it helped me put life into perspective. I feel I can provide a unique viewpoint to almost any situation because I either lived it myself or watched it happen. I also have a younger brother who is a recent cancer survivor and doing well. I have been through life's gambit and come out on the other side and would like to share that if it helps.
